Long time ago, our city was very beautiful. All the rivers were very clean and we could see many different kinds of fish in the rivers. And the air was very fresh. But now everything is changed. There are many kinds of pollution in our city, such as water pollution, air pollution, sound pollution and so on...

 

With the development of modern agriculture and industry, more and more waste water in poured into rivers. We also can see women wash clothes in the rivers. Garbage is floating on the rivers. The rivers are giving off a terrible smell. We can't see any fish in the river. And the chemical factories always make out bad smell. They will do great damage to the air. Now the temperature becomes more and more warmer. If we go on the street, we can hear lots of noise from cars, shops...

 

We often talk about how important it is to take good care of our environment, but we don't always do as we say. If we want to live a better life and have a bright future, we must learn to act in ways that do not pollute the environment.

 

The government should take measures to the factories which make much bad smell and waste water. The scientists try to work out more better ways to reduce the pollution. And we can plant more trees and decrease waste water.

 

If everyone do a little thing to protect the environment, our living life will be better.

Nowadays pollution has become a very serious problem, which has caused many people's attention. Jane expresses her opinion about the pollution and what we can do to reduce it. Though there is no sophisticated, long sentences, her article is well organized and expresses her opinion fluently.
